Skobelevo is one of the numerous villages in the Stara Zagora County, where the population is predominantly elderly or middle aged people, whose only source of income is the produce of their gardens. Most of the people are poor and live in unsatisfactory conditions. A high percentage of the people, living in the villages are from minority background.
