The village of Mokren is located in the Sliven County, which is part of theStara Zagora Region of the Bulgarian Church of God. The village is found in a mountainous area with a population of 872 people. The pastor of the local congregation in Mokren – Milcho Yankov, is from the Roma minority and has been raised in a very poor family.
